This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Snaphire IT Services collects through this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It applies to snaphire-it.com. Work we carry out for clients is covered by the separate agreements we sign with them.
Who we are
This website is operated by Snaphire IT Services, Scheme No. 78, Sanwer Road, Indore, Madhya Pradesh 452010, India (“Snaphire”, “we”, “us”). Our US entity is Snaphire IT Services Inc., 8 The Green, Suite A, Dover, DE 19901, USA. For anything related to this policy, email info@snaphire-it.com.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us and the minimum technical data needed to run the website:
- Contact form: your name, email address, company name (optional) and the message you write. This also covers job enquiries sent through the Careers page.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address and the date you subscribed.
- Emails you send us directly: whatever information you include.
- Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records server logs, including IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive personal data such as health, financial account or government ID details through this website.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, prepare a proposal or discuss an engagement.
- To consider job applications and contact candidates.
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed.
- To keep the website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix technical problems.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We process this data with your consent (which you give when you submit a form or subscribe) or where it is necessary for a legitimate purpose permitted by law, such as security and responding to your request. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising, analytics or other tracking cookies, and it does not load fonts or scripts from third-party tracking services. WordPress sets strictly necessary cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and communicate with you, and only as far as they need it:
- our web hosting provider, which stores the website and its database;
- our email provider, which delivers contact form messages to our team;
- a newsletter service, if we use one to send our newsletter.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public. Some of these providers may store data outside India. Where that happens, we use reputable providers that protect data with appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact unless we start working together.
- Job applications: up to 12 months, so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: for the period set by our hosting provider, typically a few weeks.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct or update it;
- delete it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing from the newsletter.
To unsubscribe or make any of these requests, email info@snaphire-it.com. Newsletters sent through a mailing service also include an unsubscribe link. We respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the relevant data protection authority.
Security
We protect personal data with reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted administrator access and spam protection on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a breach where the law requires it.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. For significant changes, we will make this clear on the website.
